If you were lucky enough to be home today and watching ESPNews, you were bombarded by the flashing red warning that "BRETT FAVRE SENDS A TEXT MESSAGE TO GM TED THOMSPON". Of course there is no follow up as to what this text said. My guess is Favre messaged Thompson that he hopes he's having a "bitchin' summer". Let the lunacy ensue.
What we do know, is that we can all circle July 19th on our calendars as that's when the Packers will be holding their annual Hall of Fame induction cermeony at the Lambeau Field atrium.
PACKERS HALL OF FAME TO INDUCT GILBERT BROWN, FRANK WINTERS AND AL TREML. Frank Winters has selected Brett Favre as his presenter. That should be an interesting event if Brett doesn't cancel.

The Golf Classic preceding that event is July 14th but there is no word yet on if Favre will be playing and/or holding a press conference. We'll keep you up to date.

UPDATE:
profootballtalk.com has shared that July 24th is the Packers shareholder meetings which allows the publicly owned team a chance to query those in charge about the upcoming season. That should be a blast.
